Well finally replaced the heater core!
Yes, the hoses were a PIA to remove and install on new core.
Took a few hours of screwing around to complete the install.
Got the new core from Rock Auto for less than $30 bucks.
New core was aluminum as the GM factory core was brass? with plastic tanks.
Finally got excellent heat !

Det kostade 10 000 kr. Mycket kanske, men är väldigt proffsigt byggd och man ser inte att bilen har dragkrok när man tar bort den löstagbara kroken.
Priset inkluderade även montage och alla tillstånd och EU-cerifikat som behövs för besiktningen.
Är lite besviken på Bilprovningen som endast godkände (slentrianmässigt) draget för 1.500 kg, när bilens handlingar intygade en kapacitet på ca 3. 000 kg

New Guy here.I owned a 96 Eldorado years ago and loved it.It was stolen.I bought an 03 Mercury Marauder brand new.I drove it for 13 years.I did a lot of modifications to that car,very fast..In 2016 I bought a new Challenger,V6 305HP.I never really adapted to the car and wanted that Caddy ride....I just bought an 02 Eldorado.Love it..It needs some love..I'll be asking questions for sure.Thanks for having me.
