EddieWin
Does anyone know how to locate a GM certified XLR tech? I live in southwest Florida and acquired a 2008 alpine white. Would like to run a Tech 2 diagnostics as the top seems to work when she is in the mood. I am new to this forum, so I would like to thank you all in advance for your insights and experience
Bruce Nunnally
I would check with your local Cadillac dealerships to see if they still have capabilities for the XLR top. Logan
Sorry.....You might be on your own.....most GM Techs that were there are either moved on.....retired....or dead. There are bootleg Chinese GM Tech 2s on eBay......maybe about $300. Logan
I should add.....Depending on your XLR and what you paid, condition etc. I would strongly suggest additional insurance coverage thru someone like Haverity (classic car insurance). The XLRs get totaled every day for very, very minor collisions. Light damage to a head light and front bumper?.....it will be totaled. There are simply no parts available.
