JohnnyG
There will be so many new Cadillac models being introduced over the next several years (10!) that I wouldn't worry about it right now. The only thing being offered right now as the DTS replacement is the XTS, and I'm not sure that it's getting a raving review. In fact, in a couple of years, he may just want my 2008 DTS, it should have about 40,000 miles on it by then! Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed. Cadillac Jim
It looks like an excellent choice to me. In my experience, the more recent models of station wagons are built on sedan platforms, there is little or no extra weight, and you get the handling and gas mileage of a sedan with the carrying capacity of a small pickup truck, or a third row of seats, with fold-down rear and third row seats. A small wagon like the CTS-V wagon will not have the third row, but probably can carry enough vacation supplies to make a trailer unnecessary for a week-long stay in the woods. For price, I would go by kbb.com and similar resources and hold firm on what the real price is. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Cadillac Customer Service
Very interesting post to read. I would highly suggest taking any model you're interested out for a test drive. The CTS Wagon would be quite fun to take for a spin. I hope everyone is having a great week! Matt, GM Customer Assistance
