mmarinov
/snip.../ Personally if I was looking to buy this car his nasty attitude would push me away. That nonsensical diatribe of his would've pushed me away, too. I love that he used the word "inane" in his negative feedback response, BBF! Speaking of ebay, I admit that I'm a wannabe CardioDoc. I have an ebay "business" in my spare time getting quality small-ticket GM parts at local junkyards (ebay seller mmarinov1109). If anybody needs something esoteric, I'll try to locate it for you. I'm really not in it for the money, I just enjoy wrenching on cars on the weekends. PM me if you need something Cadillac/GM and if I find a good match I'll sell it to you via PayPal at cost plus 15% for labor (will send receipt) plus shipping. Of course, the transaction would be offline (e.g. no bidding up on ebay, etc.) and I'll stand behind the part(s) quality. Please be aware - I'm not trying to "advertise" here, just trying to help out. ted tcb
On the other board, someone has just posted a link to Fred's auction, telling people that it looks like a great deal on a cheap, Z rated STS. With 22 bids, Fred may sell his car. I wonder if it still drives like a 4 cyl. car up to 73mph?? 1989 FWD Fleetwood, Silver 1995 STS Crimson Pearl on Black leather 1997 STS Diamond White 1999 STS Crimson Pearl 2001 STS Silver 2003 STS, Crimson Pearl

PAUL T
Someone ought to get on Ebay and ask him a question about if he got the engine miss fixed. I think the questions are posted on the ad. I do not know if the seller has control of that or not. It would make for an interesting explaination. I think the questions are posted on the ad. I do not know if the seller has control of that or not. It would make for an interesting explaination. He has a choice on whether to display the question or not (I think). I sent him a strongly worded "question" last time asking if he was planning on showing the car instead of posting drunken vitriol. It didn't show Man, I pity whoever gets that car. Not because it can't be fixed but my God that thing has to have some nasty karma/aura/whatever following it around. At least ted_tcb set the other board straight as you could tell the OP there was excited about the "Z-Rated STS". Yeah...Z-rated as in "Z"ero to 73 in 4.5 minutes I am looking for a console with shifter. Preferably with wiring harness and shift cable. I want to convert my DHS from column to floor. Cadillac Jim
The posting says "reserve not met." The seller can take the offer if he desires, but he is not obligated to do so, and eBay rules may give the seller some options too (anybody here with experience selling on eBay with a reserve?). The highest bid is $2574, which is a good price for that car if it is still in the condition that we last saw it, so I suspect that The Fred will try to negotiate a sale. If he can get out from under that car, he can use that money to buy a car he can fix and sell, which is apparently part of what he does for a living. He's had his money tied up in that car for waaaay too long. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Regis
Anyone else notice that Fred is dabbling in the sale of shiny glass rocks? I noticed that his website is coming along. Unfortunately it conveys the same mistrust one would feel when dealing with a used car salesman from the 70s through the early 80s. I wouldn't mind having Fred's 94 for a parts car. All the extra luggage that might come along with his car, however, makes it less interesting. And I can't get the image of Stephen King's Christine out of my head....brrrrr.
