It will be the car’s first public appearance in 64 years. The car got its start as a show vehicle at the General Motors Corp. Waldorf Astoria Transportation Unlimited event in 1949. It was a departure from other Cadillac models of the 1940s. It had a 331-cubic-inch V8 engine with then-novel overhead valves and a four-speed automatic transmission.
