    Allante intake manifold. The 4.5 and 4.9 are great motors . But, the inlet and outlet water pipes rust out that run underneath the engine and are no longer available.. It's a shame someone doesn't make those aftermarket!

    have someone cycle the key on and off as you tap on the motor of the abs pump with a brass drift or long extension. The pumps tend to freeze up when not being used. I have a 99 deville with 200K on it as a Winter car and cycle it often and it still works great!

    What is the car not doing? Not cranking? cranking but not starting?

    I bought a clone tech 2 8 years ago and it still works great!

    Check the rap relay connection in the engine compartment drivers side under the black box ... possible corrosion.

    Check the basics first .. cabin air filter clogged ? Hear any clicking in the dash or change a battery recently?

    The above should tell you ... get rid of it .. never drive an American car without a warranty !sorry to say ! Get a Honda or Toyota !

    disconnect the mass air flow sensor and try running the cart. I suspect you have a wiring issue to the iac or a bad pcm

    I can't remember base timing on those with the aldl plugged in 6 degrees with the engine warm. Those balancers have a tendency to move spin a bit so you never know where you are timing wise.

    Pull the wire off the ignition coil and look for chalking on the coil tower too!

    Unplug the EGR valve and see what happens. I remember a TSB for replacing the EGR valve and a pcm reflash.

    check the red wire on the alternator connector. That wire breaks and will cause a no charge.

    innova 3340 meter is decent for a situation like this. You need to see what kind of amp draw is being pulled.

    Unplug the fuse or the connector for the seats .

    70-100 milliamperes. 1.5 amps way too much

    I will send you some info tomorrow to start a parasitic draw test . This is what happens with these older cars over time 15 plus years .

    low a/c freon ao46 present? lCear the codes in the ac module through dash and try that.. Might need freon .

    Yes but the pump is now on those years 06-11 bolted on the back side the the crossover has to be removed

    What year ? 06-11 they changed the waterpump design an removing the entire pump housing ! It’s bolted to the back side .
