Yeah it seems Cadillac still has that 40-55+ following......I bought my 97 Eldorado ETC 120k (when I bought in...now 130k) about 6 months ago for my 22 birthday....I sold my 95 Riviera for the Caddy.....I just love large cars, can't stand plastic compacts. It's sad though that people like me have limited options today for new/newer full-sized 2-door cars today.

Most of you don't know how lucky you are.....

Overhere there aren't Cadillac drivers at ages beneath 30 or 40 years old.

I'm 52....my first car at the age of 18 was a VW Rabbit/Golf

The car in my avatar is our first Caddy, bought it at the age of 49.

Still hoping to get rich enough to get me an SRX B)

I'm 52 and my first car was a 1966 GT Mustang with HP 289 and all the extras. It was fun but my Eldorado is a better car in every respect. The first Caddy I can remember was my family's 1952 , then a 1950, 62, and finally a 1968. I don't remember the models but the 56 had an electric eye, now that was Hi Tech.

I'll be 29 next month. This is my first Cadillac, and my next car is going to be a Cadillac too. I love 'em. :yupi3ti:

WARNING: I'm a total car newbie, don't be surprised if I ask a stupid question! Just trying to learn.

Cheers!

Well, it seems that I am in the 43 to 49 group, which seems to be leading now. I think more younger people

just use computers, thats all. If all 'old fart' Caddy owners had computers I think we would easy beat the snot outta you younger guys, lol. Mind your Grandpa now kids.....

I'll be 80 on May 30th. I can't vote again; but I should definitely be the only one in that PLATINUM category.

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

True story! I was at a service station and the attendant said that my Eldorado was an old man car. He then asked me if I wanted to sell it.

I still don't get why people say that. Maybe they just don't get it.

Resistance is futile.
