Texas Jim
My first guess would also be a leaking FPR.
winterset
Was the recall performed on the car? You should have a stainless steel fuel rail and not black plastic/nylon.
rockfangd
thats what I was thinking. If it still has the nylon rail it may have cracked. If not then check your fuel lines to see if anything is dripping. I would not say FPR because that would not cause a leak externally unless the seal failed but havent heard of one yet. Well, dealer advice was to park the car outdoors away from dwellings until the fuel rail recall was completed. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Cadillac Jim
real reassuring if you ask me Really, that advice is lawyer-driven. If they didn't say that and your house caught fire, the customer's insurance company would go after GM.
