Another Darned Mystery - Taillight Bulb Missing

Recommended Posts

I started getting a fast right turn blinker, which usually means a bulb is burned out.

I opened the housing this afternoon - and - lo and behold, the top bulb was missing. Gone. Not in the housing. No on the ground. Nowhere. The socket was clean and empty.

I put in a new bulb and it all works fine.

Does this make any sense at all? The car hadn't been out of my possession when the blinker started going fast.

That is weird, a bandid that steals a bulb and then reassembles the light assembly. It has to be an inside job, blink.gif

Oh that's right, this is one of those new green bulbs, they don't blow out, they dissolve into water vapor at 2000 hours, biggrin.gif

Maybe it fell out, into the lens?, take a look behind the red lens

Did you check out the over light for missing bulb? Do it before having martinis! :)
