Ranger
Psycho, Yes I have the dimensions. I made a drawing to work off of. I attempted to scan and send a copy to another member but for some reason it didn't work. I am obviously better with lathes and wrenches than computers. I will have my daughter help me and try to send it to you tomorrow as I am at work right now. If that fails I can send via snail mail or just email the dimensions but that may be a little hard to understand in typed form. One way or another I will get you the information. Psycho
Hi Larry very fast reply ! Thank you very much for youre help :-) When you scan the drawing, simply use "save as...." and save it as xxx.jpg Jpg aren't as big as bitmaps (bmp). The size won't be a problem for me, because i have a dsl-flat rate. After scanning and syving the image, open youre outlook or different mail program, compose new mail to me and the other member and use "add file" or "add image"... then open the image... send mail. I have some service info from Cadillac for the 1995 cars... Version 7.0 august 2001... on cd. If you are interestet, i can upload it to my homepage, where you can download it... Let me know, if you are interested. best regards.... Eckhard :-) Quote LPG

Not sure what went wrong but will try tomorrow morning. I have a service manual so I should be ok with service info but thanks for the offer. Vince P
Psycho, Another tool web site: http://www.toolweb.com/discounttools.biz/s...results&srch=kw This is a Lisle tool. I bought one some time ago for $13 plus shipping. I recieved it in three days. Notes: 1. The pump is removed by turning it CLOCKWISE 2. There is an index tab on the pump note where it goes. Mine was at 0200hrs. They are not all in the same place. Once the air filter and tube to the throttle body is removed, the job is very easy with plenty of space. I ended up using an impact wrench on the Lisle tool. The dealer that installed it glued it in place. Vince P
hiljak
If it won't come loose and looks corroded, spray some lime away on it and let it sit for about 20 mins. Then take hammer and hit it directly in the center to break the corrosion free. It should come out with a breaker bar easily then. Psycho
Is there only the seal (o-ring seal) between the water pump housing assembly and the pump, or is there another between the housing and the water pump cover ??? regards Psycho Quote LPG
KHE
There is an o-ring that is on the pump cartridge and a silicone "o-ring" seal that fits in a groove in the cover that seats against the housing.
