Is it posible to run my 65 cad on lead free fule?

Yes, you can use unleaded fuel in your 65 Caddy. Just make sure you use the proper octane rating usually, 93 or better.

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

My 74 Eldo 500 ci took leaded fuel, I pulled the heads and had hardened valve guides installed so it could use unleaded.

The early 70's engines could be run on no-lead fuel as the manufacturers were already prepared for lead-free fuel. I doubt that was the case for your 1965 engine. I would add the lead substitute additive.

Yes, seats and new valves, since the faces would errode after time. I'd say it depends on how you're going to drive it. If it's for parade use, or classic car shows, you should be fine for a long time. If you're going to head it across country, you'd better opt for as many lead type substitutes that you can find.

Sorry, I threw my last bottle away about two weeks ago.

Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed.

I remember it being the valve seats that had to be replaced.

Hmm, I recalled it to be the valve guides, maybe they replaced the seats, and they replaced my guides as they needed replacing, according to this article its seats as you said

It is my understanding that the TETRAETHYL LEAD in leaded fuel acts as a cushion between the valve and the valve SEAT.

Without lead, the VALVE and the valve SEAT bangs together every time the valve closes.

Since, obviously, unleaded fuel does not have the lead to act as a cushion, you need to use a lead SUBSTITUTE to do the same thing the lead did and prevent eventual damage to the engine. Like cracked valve seats or possible a broken valve. Both of which are known as VERY BAD THINGS.

Just my 2 cents.... for what it's worth.
