help me with 92 DeVille

I have a 1992 Cadillac Deville. I checked the computer and the following trouble codes came up

put I didn't what they mean.

P.2.5 - 365

P.2.4 - 10

P.2.3 - 0.0

P.2.2 - 11

P.2.1 - 22

P.2.0 - 128

P.1.8 - 128

P.1.6 - 0

P.1.4 - .46

P.1.2 - 0

P.0.9 - 0

P.0.8 - 0

P.0.7 - 0

P.0.6 - 3

P.0.5 - 82

P.0.4 - 83

P.0.3 - 98

P.0.2 - 98

P.0.1 - 5.6

Any information you could provide would be helpful.

It does not appear that you are extracting DTC codes, you are reading real time data

Go to the top of this page, click HOW TO, then DTC codes, and then follow the directions on how to extract the codes for your year

I am not sure what you are saying, but..... When you follow the directions that I referred you to, IF there are codes the diagnostic system WILL present them to you, write them down as they are presented and post them here

if you can't keep up, extract the codes again

You need a FSM to tell you what all that data is and what the parameters are for each. They are things like RPM, engine temp, MAP (manifold absolute pressure), O2 sensor counts, injector pulse width etc.

Here goes, I found my 92 manual and this is what your PCM data codes mean and the normal range:

P.2.5 - PROM I.D. - 0 to 999 CODE

P.2.4 - Ignition cycles - 0 to 255 KEY CYCLES

P.2.3 - PRNDL (CKT 771, 776) - 00 TO 11 (0=SW. CLOSED)

P.2.2 - PRNDL (CKT 772, 773) - 00 TO 11 (0=SW. CLOSED)

P.2.1 - CRUISE SERVO POSITION - 0 TO 100 PERCENT

P.2.0 - BLOCK LEARN - 0 TO 255 COUNTS

P.1.8 - FUEL INTEGRATER - 0 TO 255 COUNTS

P.1.6 - O2 CROSS COUNTS - 0 TO 255 COUNTS/SECOND

P.1.4 - O2 SENSOR VOLTAGE - 0 TO .99 VOLTS

P.1.2 - INJECTOR PULSE WIDTH - 0 TO 99.6 MILLISECONDS

P.0.9 - VEHICLE SPEED - 0 TO 255 MPH

P.0.8 - ENGINE SPEED - 0 TO 637 RPM/10

P.0.7 - BATTERY VOLTAGE - 0 TO 25 VOLTS

P.0.6 - SPARK ADVANCE - 0 TO 90 DEGREES

P.0.5 - IAT - -40 TO 151 DEGREES C

P.0.4 - COOLANT TEMPERATURE - -40 TO 151 DEGREES C

P.0.3 - COMPUTED BARO - 60 TO 102 KPA

P.0.2 - MAP - 14 TO 109 KPA

P.0.1 - THROTTLE POSITION - -10.0 TO 90.0 DEGREES

This should give you what you need. Everything look like it is within the ranges shown.

As you, I saw these as real time data from my experience with my 91, not trouble codes

Simultaneously press and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel. I believe the codes will be displayed on the fuel data center. When you see .7.0, the system is waiting for input. You can press AUTO to exit the diagnostics or just turn the key off.

Oh nothing to be sorry about at all, we were attempting to direct you as to how to extract the DTC codes. Your action was not a mistake at all, as a matter of fact, I was quite impressed as to how far you DID get. Please be careful, OBD1 systems can be overridden. KHE posted some info for you that should be helpful.

I wish I could find my 91 Diagnostic manual, it would be helpful to you, Ill do a search here to see if I can find what I posted in the past

We used to have access to the owners manuals in PDF form, it was nice to be able to quickly search through them but we cant get to them anymore.
