flatbob123
My gramps passed recently and left his garage with quite a few old GM/Cadillac parts. I'd like to get some of them sold to help pay for his funeral and other expenses. I can't offer them for sale without knowing what years they are for. Maybe someone could help with some part #'s. moulding 3633576 and where it goes emblem 1610467 wreath 3632554 relay 9875101 moulding 1605383 - and where it goes? letter 1479267 lock set 20071252 def vent 1627358 That is a few for now. If anyone could help it would be most appreciated!

Cadillac Jim
If you filled out your profile correctly and you have a 1966 Cadillac, it has the 429 cid engine. If it was a typo and you have a 1996, it has the 4.6 liter Northstar. Someone here might be able to help you with the part numbers (I can't), but you will have an easier time if you quote year and model, such as "1996 STS" or "1956 Sixty Special" along with the part description and part number. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. JohnnyG
you will have an easier time if you quote year and model, such as "1996 STS" or "1956 Sixty Special" along with the part description and part number. I think if he had that information, he wouldn't have asked us for help. From the sound of it, part numbers cannot be traced backwards. My take on this is that they are not unique in any way, and overlap from model year to model year. Understandably so, since by now we'd be out into the 15 or 20 digit range for part numbers. Pictures might help, but no guarantees. Have you any idea what gramps was working on? Was he restoring or working on a hobby car? Does anyone in the family remember the past cars that he owned? We need to narrow the possibilities. Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed.
