Dan
When I start my car in the morning it squeals like it needs to be bled. So I turn the wheel a few times and it goes away. I thought I might have a leak somewhere, but the reservoir is full. There is definitely air coming in from somewhere because I can see bubbles in the fluid, but from where? Would replacing the pump fix the problem?

Check the connections to the gear as well. By turning the steering wheel from side to side you bleed the system. Do not hit the stops though, you can blow somthing weak up. WarrenJ
When I start my car in the morning it squeals . . . . Are you talking about a belt squeal? There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
Dan
No, It's the pump whining
BodybyFisher
In terms of a power steering pump, a squeal is totally different than a whine. A whine indicates a pressure problem or air in the system. Is it leaking? How is the power assist? That you mention bubbles in the reservoir makes me think you have a return line leaking air.
