KHE Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 By draining the radiator, you will only get about 6 quarts out of the system - that is using the exhaust from a shop vac to blow through the surge tank. There are no block drains on the Northstar so about half the coolant remains in the system.
