Bruce Nunnally
The Northstar was redesigned in 2000, so that one will probably not be your best choice. BodybyFisher
Hey what book do you have that details engine swaps? You can purchase a combustion gas test kit from NAPA to check your head gasket http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLM...2f+Engine+Block Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Ranger
Why not repair it rather than replace it. http://www.northstarperformance.com/

I think some of the mounts were changed also. Even if you could get it to bolt up, it would be impossible to get the engine electronics to function properly. It would be better to repair the existing engine. Quote Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
