WarrenJ
There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

JimD
A shrimp taco is the last thing I would order at my local Taco Bell. With or without the Nobel connection. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that... Shrimp Taco... Eewww. That really sounds disgusting. It would pretty much take the promise of a Nobel Prize (with the cash part that comes with it) to get me to try one of those. WarrenJ
Now that Obama has pretty much eradicated the significance of this award, I guess this one pretty much sums it up. The prize largely lost much its luster after Jimmy Carter pocketed it. Then there was Arafat. OBAMA! is somewhere in between. He will have to work very hard to overcome the comparisons. This will hurt him. It will not help him. He's doomed if he screws with it. He will. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion.
