Hello, I am needing some help in trying to figure out what is wrong with my AC and about how much it will cost to fix it. I have a 98 STS Seville with Northstar Engine. Last summer, the driver's side only blew out cool to warm air but the passenger side blew out cold air. I made it through the summer with that. This summer, there is no cold air on either side. Blows out very warm air. The fan works great, just no cold air. Any ideas what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. Thanks!

Where did you see PCM not supported?

Where are you located, is this an export car?

I am in East Texas. I bought it in Dallas so I don't think it is an exported car. When I was going down the list of codes and came to PCM it said PCM was not supported. Do you know what that means?

I have never seen that on a 98, it does not make sense. Try disconnecting the battery when you get a chance and see if that goes away

I dont see any codes indicating an AC problem, is your AC compressor cycling?

Differential temperatures from left to right side is frequently a low refrigerant symptom on dual zone systems.

I am going to have it serviced and see if that is the problem. I will post back if it is, but I not sure that is the problem.

thanks for all the help!

These aren't OBD II codes for the USA. None of the USA codes are over 4000. A typical USA code is

ACM P1544 CURRENT

which means "A/C Refrigerant Condition Very Low" Just running the few numbers that are in range, I get therse:

P0647 Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch Relay Control Circuit

B2111 Lumbar Down Switch Failed

This car was not originally sold in the USA, or at least the dashboard wasn't. Have you run a CarFAX on the VIN?

Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
