I am beginning to think that our live chat can be helpful at times in that it is faster. I find myself, asking questions in a thread and the member comes back piece meal with answers and I need to ask the question again.

The only problems with this idea is now we have data outside the thread

Any ideas?, what about posting the chat to a thread when done?, editing out any irrelevant text (pleasantries, etc)

It is easy enough to ctrl-C copy and Ctrl-V paste to capture transcripts:

Welcome.

You have entered Chat Lobby.

6:08 PM [Caddyinfo.com] hmm

6:09 PM [Caddyinfo.com] checking for transcritability

Catching a time when one is on simultaneous with another user of course is the tricky part.

To go into live chat, look up on the top menu bar (near the top of the page) where it says "live chat" and click on that.

Mike is a pretty unique guy...

so that figures. :D:D:D

:D I was having a Java problem for a couple a months now and just fixed it. It really is necesssary to get down and analyze problems some times.

I was getting:

Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error, then

Java Plug in Fatal Error, IE Security Warning has blocked this software.

I found out this was a bug they were having, and upgraded to Java 6 Version 10 and the Caddyinfo Chat Room now works.. yeah

Here is the link that helped me find out about the Java "several Java virtual machines" problem:

Oh, very neat!

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
