Bruce Nunnally
The site http://www.carsforagrand.com/Cadillac is an accumulator to help you find Cadillacs listed for sale for under $1,000 US$. How do they do that? A lot of the samples I tried were opening bids on ebay, so of course at auction completion they may or may not still be under $1K. Note some auctions have RESERVE prices, which are likely MUCH higher than $1K. Who's paying for the site? Appears to be advertising funded. Once a site like this is setup and running with bots to skim new ads from auction sites it would be low maintenance. Bruce's favorite from the site today: a 1972 Deville with no reserve price; on ebay at $800 so far. http://www.carsforagrand.com/listing/170240203999 Let the Buyer Beware if you are spending money, as deals for cars tend to be challenges to get what you think you are paying for. However, if like me you like to shop and dream, this seems like a fun site. I tinted the windows so dark, that I had to roll down the windows when it was raining hard to look to the left and right at an intersection ... I loved that car and it was a beauty and I was bummed when it spun a main bearing and I had to put her down ... If I remember right, it was the biggest/heaviest cat ever made ... Bruce Nunnally
Thanks Dave. What I meant though was that the auctions are not licensed under fee or paying for inclusion, but that the business model for the site appears to be funding by advertising. Logan
Somehow it is cloaked eBay information. I went to 'next page' and was now on eBay Motors. I guess he is trying to make some extra $ on the click advertising.
