chazglenn3
DTC 1347 is "Very Low A/C Refrigerant Warning". Sounds like a couple of cans of R134a and you'll be all set. Edit...looks like Mike beat me to it... Charles Charles

joeb
i had the same code and my freon level was fine. i did notice an oily residue on the sensor plug though. i cleaned the connector and cleared the code and it has not come back. i assume i have a flaky sensor that is leaking compressor oil and is affecting the terminal contacts. you assume the sensor is always right but sometimes the sensor can be faulty. WarrenJ
Edit...looks like Mike beat me to it... Yeah, Mike types fast. Sometimes, especially when his post is long, I think he's dictating it. Regards, Warren P.S. Me, I type with two fingers; sometimes I can manage three. BodybyFisher
<blush> Thanks, I love it here. I have been observing how well we brainstorm as a group. Each of us has terrific instincts and our own experience with these cars.. As a group, we are powerful. WarrenJ
so I had to WOT the response.... And a new term enters the lexicon . . . . Yes Scotty, er BbF, there *is* power in numbers; we demonstrate that here every day. The really satisfying part is that someone almost always benefits from the collective wisdom here. KHE
Before adding R-134a, make sure there is still some refrigerant in the system - you should have 70-90psi of static pressure. If not, you will need to evacuate the system with a vacuum pump to remove the air from the system.
