bschelle
My 99 Deville with 135,000 would not start this morning. No symptoms or problems til this morning. Got the message"THEFT SYSTEM PROBLEM CAR MAY NOT START". Codes are: B0533, B2471, B2750, C1276, U1016, U1255. Looks like the passkey is messed up. Any ideas or suggestions? I tried both of my keys too. Happy New Year, Bill.
BodybyFisher
Try spraying the key and lock with WD40 and work it in and out to distribute it. Someone posted a method (I think Kevin) to bypass this issue, but I can't remember what year it was for.. adallak
Probably wires inside the lock cylinder failed. You can replace the lock cylinder or fool the system installing a resistor equal to one in your key into the circuit. A few months ago there was a post with similar condition. The model year does not matter. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
