Bruce Nunnally
https://www.autoblog.com/2020/06/17/2021-cadillac-ct5-v-blackwing-spied/ These latest spy shots reveal a couple of other new developments. For one, we get a really great look at the wheel and tire package on the car. It gets 305-section-width tires in back and 275-section-width rubber in front. The wide, staggered setup is no surprise considering that this car will very likely put out more than 640 horsepower. No Hood scoop. cdgrinci 1 Quote Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
cdgrinci
I think I heard in the video (part of the link) that at least one of the CT5-VB's had a dual clutch tranny. Bruce Nunnally
I think the new 10 speed as in the Corvette is dual-clutch, but that probably bears some research. The advantage of dual clutch of course is near instantaneous shifting. cdgrinci
Yes the Corvette is dual clutch (no manual offered); all the reviews I've seen are giving kudos to the dual-clutch. It would be good choice for the CT5-VB. Quote Chuck '25 CT5, '04 Bravada........but still lusting for that '69 Z-

I heard that also. I thought the Blackwing was being shelved? Bruce Nunnally
Confusingly, the CT5-V Blackwing won't have the Blackwing V8, it will have the LT4 or an updated variant. Marketing loves the Blackwing name so they plan to use it without the engine. BodybyFisher
That switcheroo is going to be ripped by publications. It is a great name but it was associated with a different engine, the LT4 is a great engine in its own right Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
