Recommended Posts

Received this question on the blog:

90 caddy blower fan will not turn off. Climate control panel does'nt work. Can' get a digital fuel reading either. What could be the problem?

I would start with grounds and fuses. Are there any aftermarket products such as remote start or security system installed under the dashboard?

I believe that there are some ALDS or OBD I codes that can be read on the 1990 models. If possible, I would get those codes, as they will likely tell us exactly where to start.

Blower motor module is the problem with the climate control fan. The module was separate from the motor itself in that era.
