Texas Jim
That would give the roadster a different look....
two2go
You would need two to be authentic. I saw one SS100 where the driver's screen was a bit taller than the passenger's. The originals seem to have these behind the windshield, which is folded down forward, for what purpose? Sport look? Racing? I guess the real SS drivers look through two windscreens when the main is up.
Bruce Nunnally
The windscreen provides a significant aerodynamic cross-section as compared with the smaller brooklands aero screen. For racing the smaller screen would allow a bit higher top speed. Martin Monaco
Already have a pair of these Brooklands screens, ready to go on the Duke, during re-assembly..... They are well made and trial fitting has shown that they should also look the part. It will be a few weeks before I can post pictures of them on the car though. Bruce Nunnally
Fun. Is the windscreen done so that it fold down, or are the Brooklands there instead of the windshield? Martin Monaco
The windscreen does not fold down, sadly, so the aero screens will be fitted behind the windscreen and the windscreen removed as and when required. The Current plan is to leave the Aero screens in place permanently though.
