Oil in Spark plug

No big deal, oil in the spark plug ports is very common

The cam covers have spark plug hole seals, when the cam cover seals are done, the spark plug seals are part of the job. It is quite difficult to replace the cam cover seals as its difficult to get the cam covers off (water pump pulley and no room for the rear cam cover)

The oil did not cause your misfire, oil wont conduct electricity, its actually an insulator

A trace of oil in the spark plug hole is not uncommon; the O ring seals in the cam covers can seep a little over time. Did you check the other three plug holes while you had the ignition coil package removed??

I had the same thing.. It was mainly in one cylinder. When I changed the plugs I soaked it up with a paper towel before I removed the plug. I check back once a week or so and so far not much of anything. Guess mine is just a very slow seeper.

GMTA is an abbreviation for Great Minds Think Alike, most often used in text-messaging.

My 02 STS had that too, I just cleaned it up when I replaced the plugs. Didn't cause any problems with igntion though. At least not that I know of! ;)
