Bruce Nunnally
Motor Trend: http://blogs.motortrend.com/6590968/editor...cars/index.html Cadillac CTS-V. It's vanquished the BMW M5, and taken down Jaguar's XFR. Make no mistake, the Cadillac CTS-V is a benchmark sport sedan. Even now, after a lot of miles in CTS-Vs over the past 12 months, I find it astonishing I can write that sentence. The CTS-V's supercharged V-8 delivers a tidal wave of power; the steering is crisp and accurate; the chassis balance superb; ride and refinement first rate. The CTS-V shows the American auto industry is capable of building a no-excuses, world-class automobile when it puts its mind to it. Is it good enough to beat the impressive new Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG? Log on to motortrend.com next week to find out. But win, lose or draw, the CTS-V will remain one of my all-time favorite American cars. Bruce Nunnally
I think the CTS-V is excellent; the real question is how the pricing holds up when I need to get a replacement for my CTS. The 08 STS-V looks strong, but if the 09 CTS-V pricing has come down enough maybe. Now I am thinking of stretching the time I keep this car to see if I can wait out the market for the CTS-V -- and because the 05 CTS has been such a good car for me. inctsv09
The 09's are coming down some in price. I've seen some dealers advertising some good deals on either new or demo's.
Bruce Nunnally
Yes, not down to my budget yet but I think the CTS-V will be a terrific used car value, as it is a terrific new car value. Great picture of your V! Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
