It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Who are we kidding? GM ruled the world in 1967, and its stunning Cadillac Eldorado proved to any doubters GM had the best stylists in the business.

The 67/68, especially the 68 was my favorite body style and the last body style I cared for as they became big and boxy from then on, for a while. I loved the vertical head lights. I had a chocolate brown 68 convertible with a beige interior, man I loved that car. To me, the 67/68 was the pinnacle

That's nice and everything, but I can't overstate my preference for the father of this car, the Toronado. Really, it's by far the better looking car.

Ahh, that is an absolute statement

I love the 67 and 68 eldos, I had an opportunity to buy one a few years ago. To me its preference, but to me the Eldo was more attractive than the Toronado, and I think the Toronado is outstanding, I loved the rolling speedometer and rear deck. The photos in this link are erotic....

jay leno's toronado is pretty nice also. i assisted my dad and we put a 67 toronado drivetrain in the rear of a corvair greenbriar van. torsion bar suspension and stock dual inlet/exhaust muffler too. very cool project. and we have no pics of it.
