Marika
If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. WarrenJ
I wish I had the courage to subject my car to that sort of analysis. BUT, I don't! Regards, Warren :=P There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
MadeInAmerica
I wish I had the courage to subject my car to that sort of analysis. BUT, I don't! Regards, Warren :=P If you did, it could potentially save you thousands of dollars by spotting a problem before it ended up being a costly repair. Oil analysis is a great way to look inside your engine and see what is really going on. It's also valuable information to be able to have when it comes time to sell your car. You can show documented proof that the engine is in good condition and has been taken care of. This adds resale value to your car.

Marika
Marika, how may miles are you at? I see interval but not miles There are two numbers listed, miles on oil and miles on unit. Miles on unit is the odometer reading at the time the oil sample was drawn. At that time it was 14,840 miles. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
stsjoe
Yikes! it's not even broken in yet. I just passed 70K, I think you'll be happy. I'm averaging 31.1 mpg on the cheap stuff, the stereo still sucks but other than that I'm happy
