Pride in ownership

Recommended Posts

Due to my financial situation I recently had to sell the Dodge Ram pickup I purchased new last year. And I found myself in the market for a used car. I searched the local used lots and found plenty of bland, uninspiring, econo-boxes. :(

At one lot in particular, there was an older Cadillac off to the side I glanced at several times while walking around the lot in search of basic transportation. Something about that car kept catching my eye, so I walked over to take a closer look. It was several years older and had a few more miles on it, but it was cheaper than the crackerboxes I had been looking at. I figured the gas mileage couldn't be that bad, so I took it for a test drive and instantly fell in love.

Needless to say, the "ole silver devil" found its way into my driveway and my heart.

At first I felt like I was "stepping down" from a 2008 to a 2001. But, I can honestly say I like this car better than any previous new or used car I have had in the past. And I sure am glad I didn't settle for one of the little crackerboxes!

I find myself taking great pride in owning and driving my 1st Cadillac, even if it is 8 years old!

There's something about a Cadillac! :yupi3ti:

Yep...you are right..there is just SOMETHING ABOUT a Cadillac. :D:D

Most of us, if not ALL of us, on this forum, like and enjoy our Cadillac automobiles.

(at least I know that "I" do) :D:D

We care about them more and maintain them better, than just the average driver does.

I have driven mostly Cadillacs for almost 25 years.

There have been a few other oddballs every once in a while...but I always go back to Cadillac.

They can't be beat.

In my NOT so humble opinion. :D:D
