winterset
verify that the power shuts off after ~15 minutes. shut the car off, leave the windows open, wait 15 minutes, then reach into the window (do not open the door), make sure the wipers, radio, power windows etc. do not have any power. then check under the underhood fuseblock for corrosion/ pitting. Ranger
where do I start? Put a 12v test lamp in line between the battery post and the cable. If it lights you have a draw. Start pulling fuses until it goes out.

I would start with getting a second opinion on the condition of the battery. They can fail after 6 days or 6 weeks or.... Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE ! adallak
I have just measured how much current my battery drains when the car is locked. It was 2.47 mA. Ranger's test will work on either positive or negative side, but, of course, it is much safer to disconnect the negative cable and insert the test light between the latter and the negative battery post.
