TSB is dated 12/18/2006. #05-08-61-007A Obtained from Alldata and gave to dealer. All covered by GMPP Warranty Hope this helps someone. Cadillac Jim
When my front motor mount went out, there was just a little more driveline "slack" until it beat out the wishbones, then there was a whole lot more driveline "slack" and the exhaust system hit the firewall when I nailed it. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. BodybyFisher
I am getting a bang on moderate acceleration, I video taped my engine shifting with my foot on the brake and a high idle and will post it. I am going to buy a new mount next week and install it, the scrap yard did not have a used mount. Cadillac Jim
If you know that you have a bad motor mount on a FWD Northstar, it is probably the front, but you should check the wishbones too because they take the full load when the front motor mount goes bad.
