Bruce Nunnally
Searching on google, apparently Norton gives this error message on a variety of sites. It is related to specific image viewing. If you know which image(s) are giving the error, we can scan those more thoroughly to ensure they are not bugged. BodybyFisher
Thanks Bruce, I was on the main page called Cadillac Discussion Forum and I clicked PAGE 5 of 99 Deville Northstar Overheat, and immediately got that message. Maybe its an image on page 5... Thanks for looking into this.. maybe Norton is too sensitive? Cadillac Jim
I just tried the same thing. My Norton Internet Security 2006 didn't peep. I think that you had an intrusion attempt that piggybacked on the incoming data or otherwise looked like it was coming from an IP address that you were downloading the web page from. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. BodybyFisher
I got this a second time yesterday, again it said it was coming from caddyinfo... no biggie, Norton grabbed it and notified me.. I am keeping an eye on it.. By the way, when it happens I am knocked OUT of caddyinfo as Norton quarantines the problem and locks out for 30 minutes...
