berittiner
2000 STS sat in the garage for 30 days, now completely dead. Charged the battery overnight, still totally dead! Please advise!

KHE
Check the battery cable terminals for corrosion. Clean the terminals and see if that fixes the problem. I had the same issue with My Fleetwood when I removed it from storage this spring. Logan
Most battery chargers will not even turn on if the battery is totally dead. KHE
Yeah - most automatic chargers are worthless on a completely dead battery. Some have a manual mode that can override the automatic circuit. Ed Fenwick
You could hook it to your other car for two min. and start it that way.
cardio-doc
Years ago when I had my (bought new) 2000 STS, it sat for 10 days and when I went to start it it was dead. Took a jump though and battery was ok. Car was maybe 10 months old at the time. Just FYI. ~Doc --- Direct Performance on Ebay CaddyInfo.com Cadillac Conversations Blog
Logan
As mentioned....most chargers will not 'see' a completly dead battery.. All you need to do is run something to create a flow.....like have the parking lights on....then the charger will work..
