Bruce Nunnally
Missed this a few days ago... failure takes out new engine Complete Street Performance My CTS-V Wagon has gone down again because of a simple part. We'll explore the damage done to the NEW engine and try to understand why there was a fail in the first place. Also we'll see what our plans are for moving forward as we want the CTS-V engine to be back up and running, but better than the current budget build. cdgrinci
Interesting story and kudos for keeping that V-Wagon functional and back on the street. The only problem I have with it is his title of a 3 dollar part wrecking his engine; I believe he got it right when he alluded that the faulty injector ran the cylinder lean and he cooked his $3 spark plug (not the cause, but one of the effects). Cool car though, for sure. Quote Chuck '19 CT6, '04 Bravada........but still lusting for that '69 Z-
