BodybyFisher
I don't think its a good idea here at caddyinfo, mainly because amongst mixed company its inappropriate to discuss Politics and Religious but I thought it was interesting that the Corvette Forum had a Politics, Religion and Controversy under their OFF TOPIC category. We discussed politics very heavily here before the 2008 election, and I think there were some hard feelings exchanged. I have not softened, but I dont think we would benefit from a politics section of the 19th hole, what do you all think? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/politics-religion-and-controversy/3002476-obamas-catholic-church-gambit-lessons-from-american-communists-2.html#post1580031004 Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Ranger
Politics and religion are forbidden in most forums I believe. Those conversations can get out of control REAL quickly. There is a reason why they sat "Never discuss politics or religion with friends".
Texas Jim
This is just my opinion.... I don't think it is a good idea to have a separate section for that... We can all argue about it all day... but no one is gonna change anyone else's mind about much of anything. All it will accomplish is several people will get all ticked off... I am a social and fiscal conservative.... If some liberal come spouting all of the wealth distribution BS at me... I am sure we would get into a big argument... But bottom line... he ain't gonna change my mind and I doubt that I will change his...even tho I know he is wrong... haha.... so what's the point ??? BodybyFisher
I agree also, the country is split 50/50, we are going to disagree with one out of two people we meet. It was interesting to see that the Corvette board set up a section like that Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
airmike
I know I am not wrong because if I were I would have changed my mind and then I wouldn't be wrong still, and I can find the "facts to back me up" if someone will just point me to the correct author. I promise not to get mad though, because I know I am right and anybody that doesn't agree can kis(((&*m,*YI....... I vote no...
BodybyFisher
airmike, I dont know if you recall, but we had some spirited discussions before the election. I have been posting to a political site and I find it very frustrating if not futile. What has happened is that I have given up due to the futility of it and it only aggravates me. Texas Jim
It would be pretty futile to try to change my mind on "MOST" things... I read and halfway keep up with whats going on... and since I am an old Conservative, White, Anglo Saxon, Protestant, and pretty much set in my ways... it isn't easy to change my mind... :fighting0025:
