Bruce Nunnally
Rockauto.com lists these options: DNJ ENGINE COMPONENTS Part # HG3154L DNJ ENGINE COMPONENTS Part # HG3154R FEL-PRO Part # 26151PT FEL-PRO Part # 26150PT VICTOR REINZ Part # 54357 VICTOR REINZ Part # 54356 FEL-PRO Part # HS26150PT1 DNJ ENGINE COMPONENTS Part # HGS3154 VICTOR REINZ Part # HS54356A Bolts: DNJ ENGINE COMPONENTS Part # HBK3154 VICTOR REINZ Part # GS33386 FEL-PRO Part # ES72186 General Fel-pro tech info: http://www.fme-cat.com/Docs/1425.pdf Also I found this document VERY interesting and has lots of helpful hints: Specific Fel-Pro Northstar info: http://www.felpro-only.com/tec_notes/Inside_Sealing-GM_Northstar.pdf I suppose of those choices I would get the Fel-pro, but just because I have heard of them before and I like the write-up. Victor Reinz apparently made the OEM gaskets. Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
BodybyFisher
Didnt you just do a head gasket, what did you use? Personally, if I were to do this job, I would consider OEM then I would do a survey of rebuilders, speak to the timesert people and speak to Northstar Performance Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
i used felpro and the back head already blew i month wonderd if i used a brand like cometic it would hold up better also used jakes stud kit I would wait till you inspect the studs to see if one or more pulled out, this is not likely due to the head gasket itself Check for cracks in the cylinder walls Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
airmike
I would recommend talking to Jake. He guarantees his for 100,000 miles against head gasket failure. Also states zero failures to date. I would also want to ask his advice, about your current failure. As I am in the process of doing my 99 also I would be very interested in your conversation with them.
