Ok... Should the "metal" end be clipped to something or plugged into something? Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob lol

If it is hanging loose, you can tie wrap it to something near the throttle body or whatever is close nearby to stop it from flopping

It should have a clip around the hose section, and the clip is connected to the metal plate that the gas petal & cruise cable go through. The clip is one of those found around the corrogated plastic hose that you find wireing harnesses encased in. The wire harness is connected to the car using the clip you need. I hope this is clear. You can probably just get away with securing it to the plate ir another cable with a zip tie.

that is the transmission breather hose. 2 things make sure the cap spins and thee hose is not kinked, It is supposed to be attached to the back side of the throttle body bracket
