BodybyFisher
The tranny cap is located on the side pan down low below the air box on my car and the dipstick is part of the cap, I know of no dip stick other than that, unless it was different before 96. BodybyFisher
That is what I thought. If you have fluid coming out of there I would think that it is overfilled, overfilling will cause FOAMING and cavitating and create problems Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

KHE
Not sure what bolt is in question but it helps to have universal joints for the socket extensions. Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71

You need to remove the four bolts securing the torque converter to the flexplate in order to remove the transaxle. When you say the motor is on the ground are you referring to the donor car's engine or your car's engine???
