Bruce Nunnally
[article] The car is now the fastest gasoline powered, wheel-driven vehicle on earth. The engine came from a 1970’s-era Cadillac. CAD Performance punched it out to 529 cubic inches and gave it two turbochargers. The nosecone came from the fuel tank from a Voodoo Canadian fighter jet. Getting everything to fit inside what is little more than a needle with wheels was the toughest part of the job. Texas Jim
Very cool. They used one of the old 500 cubic inch engines with twin turbos for 1400 HP. Nice that they chose a Cadillac engine to do it with.

Bruce Nunnally
Makes me want to take a nice 70-75 Cadillac down to http://www.cad500parts.com/ and have them tune the engine up to 420+ HP & 550+ Ft-Lbs as a weekend cruiser. Probably need a longer garage to get one to fit though. Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
