jimkujo
Would this be a good buy. Would this work as advertised. Thinking of bidding but don't know a lot about this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2456625384
Bruce Nunnally
Can't say without testing. Your results may depend on the area of the country you are in also, as the cone will breath more hot underhood air than the standard, cold-air box. Ranger
Everything I have read indicates that intake mods do little if any good. Also consider the fact that the intake pulls outside air over the PCM to cool it. Bypassing that may cause problems in hot summer weather.

Bill K
I put a K & N cone filter on and removed the resonator. I have had no problem w/pcm. As to better or worse power...who knows? Power wise its probably a toss-up but the sound is worth all the effort. I love to hear that northstar growelllllll.
