Marika
If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. Cadillac Jim
Doesn't the BMW system operate the throttle as well as the steering? Other than BMW and Cadillac, who else has automatic parking? I've seen other ads on TV from foreign carmakers recently that claim or imply that their electronic stability control is all-new, and others similarly highlight other GM innovations from the 1980s or 1990s such as OBD, networked modules, distributorless ignition, etc. Yet most of then still don't have automatic headlight control. Remeber the TV ads for the Ford Grenada? They said that you couldn't tell one from a Mercedes -- but you shure could tell the difference by driving one. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. BodybyFisher
PLEASE, learn how to PARK......that's all! I parked a 66 Cadillac on a New York City Chinatown street when I was in college, lets get back to learning how to park. My Mom taught me how to park a car long before I could drive, she was extremely proud of being able to park a Cadillac in a tight spot.
