98deville Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 I'll be changing the starter from my 76 eldorado I can order an AC Delco from rock auto for about $65 or I can get another brand (Endurance Brand) for just a few dollars less from an auto parts store.....Or they have an Ultima Brand at Orielly's for $54. Consider the shipping costs in both directions when buying it locally. You should be able to have your existing starter repaired for much less than the cost of a new one.
