Bruce Nunnally
from fatwallet.com: Sears announced today an in- store promotion that will help dads and their families have "a gas" this Father's Day. On June 7th, Sears will kick off the Men's Dockers Father's Day event, where customers will receive a $75 gas gift card when they spend $100 on any Men's Dockers merchandise (excluding shoes). Not only will dad get free gasoline, but one lucky customer will also have the chance to win a Toyota Prius with a retail price of $21,100! The event goes through June 15th. I'll take the gas card, you can keep the Prius. I hate the way those "things" look. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. Marika
Now what if it were a MINI? I actually saw a MINI station wagon the other day, it was pretty cool.... Oh silly rabbit, of course I would take it if it were a MINI. The MINI Clubman is one awesome vehicle. But then again, so is the MINI Cooper. MAC
OK, does this mean that everyone gets a $75 gas card for spending $100 or more? If so, this means 75% off a $100 purchase, right? So, if I walk into my nearest Sears and spend $100 on Dockers I will automatically get a $75 gas card? I ask, because it doesn't appear to be that straight forward. Bruce Nunnally
Yes, seems you get a $75 Shell gas card if you buy at least $100 of Dockers clothes. http://www.206inc.com/dockersgiftcard2008 has the small print, but still reads that way.
