no i counldnt figure out how it went i still have it . but i did drop the pan agian just to see if it broke again everything seem to b fine. i put it back together and put my scanner on it and took it for a drive and the solenoids seem to be firing. only thing i did notice is that the voltage on the pressure sensor some times went to zero. this almost makes me believe that it might be pressure related. i had some on else look at it and they seem to think its electrical? but y would it work so good for 1 day? confused?

I believe that strap or bracket holds the solenoids in place and prevents them from breaking again. Maybe they are shifting. I think there is a picture somewhere with it in place. You might find it with a search.

There are check balls that need to be located correctly when you change the shift solenoids. See this thread for some background, another member had some problems,

Here is some info about the bracket

im pretty sure their in the right place but now i got a pic of them i might pull it back down and check. but if i had 1 in the wrong place would the transmission shift? that might explain why when i was lookn at the scanner the press sensor voltage to go to zero somtimes? cause im pretty sure that shouldnt happen. because it did worked fine for 1 day

Your problem is with the bracket (or lack thereof)

If you don't install the bracket the fluid pressure passing through the solenoid filter will eventually push the filter out of the valve body housing. Once this happens fluid will drain out of the valve body instead of pressurizing the solenoids (and the solenoids won't function/fire, same symptoms as a failed solenoid). Install the bracket and everything should be "A" ok ;)

Your EGR is probably sticking, its probably the pindle position code. Remove it, clean it as good as possible without scratching it using nothing abrasive, tapping it with a hammer will dump some dirt. Use BRASS round wire brushes and us a new EGR gasket
