Bruce Nunnally
My CT4-V Blackwing came with a brake cooling deflector kit. The owner's manual notes this adds brake cooling for track days, high speed driving, or competitive events. The kit includes: Rear lower control arm deflector - left Rear lower control arm deflector - right Rear lower control arm deflector spacer bracket - left Rear lower control arm deflector spacer bracket - right Fastener hex Fastener nut Instructions The instruction seem to describe removing the brake rotors, re-positioning some parts, removing some parts, and installing the kit. Then after the track event, one is cautioned to re-install the stock components. cdgrinci
I've seen similar kits for Corvette; they suggest removing these kits for normal road use. I believe that the deflectors are 'low hanging fruit' susceptible to damage during everyday driving. Bruce Nunnally
I agree. I am not installing it for now but interesting that it is included with the Blackwing. cdgrinci 1 Quote Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
