Bruce Nunnally
Sort of sales oriented review, so pretty positive & highlights some interesting details such as brake by wire. New rumor: The big-engine version of the new V's will be called V-Max (?) cdgrinci
Nice package; so basically Cadillac borrowed the "V" moniker from the previous V-Sport and is adding the suspected V-Max (maybe they need to drop the ax of Max and call it the V/M). Bruce Nunnally
I loved the old "60 Special" name so I would like it if they called the new ones V-60S or V-Special but I will be unsurprised if they don't use a different badge at all, which will help sell more of the 'base' C5-V's. The real problem with the C5-V is it is not a fully loaded package. You need the RWD C5V for 47K but then another 4-12K for red paint & various packages. My impression is a version that is equivalent to my ATS-V would cost more, and give less performance. cdgrinci
Agree Bruce, I did a Build and Price (just to see), just about everything is extra and there are a lot of packaged bundles so the MSRP rises quickly. The car that was reviewed, with what was shown, would be easily north of 60k I'm guessing.
