Bruce Nunnally
If Cadillac is right that all Cadillacs will be electric vehicles by 2030 I suggest they start mailing me batteries now, or offer an easy motor swap lol. BodybyFisher
This is what happens when government regulations drive a corporation's direction. That is the reason Bob Lutz retired, government regulations. Government helped GM in 2008, then got in their business, they tried the same with BANKS. https://web.archive.org/web/20150924105137/http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/feb2009/db2009029_162350.htm I would like to see an analysis of electric verses some of the more efficient combustion engines being produced. We are lightyears ahead of the carbureted engines of the past in fuel efficiency and emissions. Bruce Nunnally
I do like the idea of home charging but still don’t have a good solution for cross country trips without recharge delays. My son recently rode in a Tesla 3 and was impressed and ready to buy one. As you noted though, can you drive them long distances in weather extremes. I guess only time will tell. There is a lot of focus on battery technology. I just feel that 100% electric cars is extreme. Maybe fleets of taxi's, ubers, grocery getters, 'soccer mom/dad' rides, municipal cars, etc. Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
