Caddys
Hi there, from Norway! I have a 1999 Caddy Deville, with the following current DTC codes: P0113, P0151, P1638, B2502, B1910, C1235 a couple of those are related to charging issues, so I`ve taken the alternator out and tested it, and it works, but the car won`t charge. Can the ecm be the fall guy here?? Great forum, by the way!! I just found out about it, on my mission to find answers to my chargeing issue...... All the best from the high north!! barczy01
check the red wire on the alternator connector. That wire breaks and will cause a no charge.
rockfangd
Also check the plug to the alternator. Have misdiagnosed because of that plug. The wires go bad right by the plug and cause intermittent or no charge Quote GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
