Ruel
Hi I would like to know if anyone understands why my ac will stop cooling when the car is not in motion eg. at a stop light and once moving cools perfect.. on my observation I notice that when the compressor trips in the fan is not blowing on the condenser..why is this? Bruce Nunnally
Perhaps one or both electric radiator fans are not working? Also possible they are working but signal from A/C on not connecting? Ruel
It has one big fan.. but trying to determine if there is a thermostat switch in addition to relay that might be the cause ..
rockfangd
Hello. Check your codes first off. Anytime the AC is on the fan should be running. Without flow of air through the condenser it will spike the high side pressure and if high enough it shuts off the compressor for protection. This is what it sounds like yours is doing. I would be checking that fan. But if a code is stored that may help as well Quote GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
